Instrument Rating (IR)
The instrument rating consists of:
Theoretical part in Distance Learning mode on a web platform, with the support of “Oxford” books and 35 hours of tutors that can be used at discretion Pass the theoretical exams.
Practical part:
- For single engine (SEP/IR) total 50 hours divided into:
- maximum 35 hours of Simulator
- 15 hours minimum SEP (DA40 or P28A)
- in-flight examination (skill test)
- For dual-engine enabling (MEP/IR) total 55 hours divided into:
- maximum 40 hours of Simulator
- 15 hours minimum MEP (DA42 or PA34)
- in-flight examination (skill test)
IR Radiotelephony: two intensive course weekends followed by the examination
