Instrument Rating (IR)

The instrument rating consists of:

Theoretical part in Distance Learning mode on a web platform, with the support of “Oxford” books and 35 hours of tutors that can be used at discretion Pass the theoretical exams.

Practical part:

• For single engine (SEP/IR) total 50 hours divided into:
  • maximum 35 hours of Simulator
  • 15 hours minimum SEP (DA40 or P28A)
  • in-flight examination (skill test)
• For dual-engine enabling (MEP/IR) total 55 hours divided into:
  • maximum 40 hours of Simulator
  • 15 hours minimum MEP (DA42 or PA34)
  • in-flight examination (skill test)

IR Radiotelephony: two intensive course weekends followed by the examination
