Night Flight Qualification (NIT)

The night rating is obtained by fulfilling the following conditions:

  • 5 hours total lock-out, of which at least:
    • a cross-country flight of 1 hour or more
    • 5 takeoffs and 5 “solo” landings

Before the practical lessons there will be Long Briefings to cover the theoretical part. No exam is required, it is the instructor who qualifies the pilot.

You can obtain this qualification by combining it with a familiarisation with an additional day flight, or you can already obtain it during PPL missions by adding the above mentioned missions.

ENAC accepts the rating obtained in Switzerland.
